This is a great place to stay. The rooms are spacious, equipped with a comfortable bed and a good-sized fridge. There's a table for meals and a kitchen area with the essentials. Ideal for families or workers, the nice pool with a slide is a bonus. Clean facilities and good shower pressure add to the experience.

The bed sheets were stained. Limited kitchenware for three.

Had perfect stay for business trip with helpful staff and fantastic location to watch the football. Standard quadruple room with good bathroom, had essentials required. Location: the hotel was very close to shops pubs and clubs, shops and restaurants, and Australia.

The staff at Galaxy Mackay Motor Inn were fantastic, providing excellent service throughout our stay. Our room was lovely and modern, equipped with an air conditioner, a full-sized fridge, and comfortable extra chairs, which really added to our comfort. We found the rate of $215 to be reasonable given the quality of the accommodations. the location is ideal, situated in a pleasant and mostly quiet area, yet conveniently close to shops, pubs, clubs.

The rooms at Galaxy Mackay Motor Inn were newly renovated and the furniture inside was very comfortable. The linen and towels were lovely and soft, providing a great night's sleep. The pool with the slide was a hit with the kids, and the location was convenient, close to the city and a short walk to a small supermarket. The free WiFi was really good, one of the best I've experienced in any motel in Australia. Despite being located on a busy road, the room was surprisingly quiet.

Loved spending Easter here! Best aspects? the pool was really inviting and perfect for the kids. Plus, there were a lot of awesome take-away and shops just a short walk away which saved us a lot of time. the customer service was great too - they responded quickly to our inquiries. we got some great complimentary snacks and drinks on arrival.

Worst aspects? the hygiene was poor, a lot of the towels didn't have any soap with them and the pillows had hair on them even after we requested extra cleaning.

This hotel offers great value for money, with modern rooms and attention to detail like undercover parking at your door. It's conveniently located on the main highway and the staff are friendly and attentive to your needs.
